My vehicle’s SOS system was not functioning properly, which prevented me from accessing the myVW app. I purchased the vehicle five months ago from the Volkswagen Brandon location and made numerous return visits to address the same issue, but it was never resolved. During my last visit to the Brandon location, I was told that Volkswagen was aware of the problem, that it was affecting multiple customers, and that a fix was being developed, although no estimated resolution date was available. Wanting additional clarification, I contacted Volkswagen directly. I was informed that they were not aware of any widespread issue matching the one I was experiencing. This left me frustrated and concerned, as the information I received from the Brandon dealership was not accurate at all.
