What Is a Car Lease?
Think of leasing like a long-term rental. Instead of purchasing a vehicle outright, you pay to use it for a fixed period. What Happens at the End?
When your lease concludes, you have three options. One of them is to return the vehicle and walk away. The other two are to lease or purchase a new Volkswagen or buy out your current vehicle at the pre-agreed residual price. My vehicle’s SOS system was not functioning properly, which prevented me from accessing the myVW app. I purchased the vehicle five months ago from the Volkswagen Brandon location and made numerous return visits to address the same issue, but it was never resolved.
